How do I get a copy of my data?

In your account, under security, choose to get a copy of your data. Enter your current password and one file downloads with everything we hold about you, each part under the privacy notice’s own words for it.

It works whether or not you have agreed to the terms, and after you close your account too, until the day it is removed: the page for a closed account has the same form.

The file leaves out your password’s hash and your two-step keys, and says why. They say nothing about you, and in a lost file they would be a way into your account.

If you cannot sign in, write to the privacy address in the privacy notice. We answer within 45 days, free of charge, and ask for the least we need to know the account is yours.
