Answers to what people actually ask, with every number read from the rule that enforces it.
Getting started
- Who can register on Sooqban?A business in one of seven countries: Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
- I asked for a registration link and nothing arrivedThe link is valid for 60 minutes. If more than that has passed, ask for a new one. The old one stops working rather than being reusable.
Signing in
- What makes a password acceptable? At least 15 characters. Three or four unrelated words are easier to remember than a short one with symbols in it, and harder to guess.
- It says too many attempts. How long do I wait? After 5 wrong attempts on the same address, each further try has to wait. The wait starts at 30 seconds and grows up to 15 minutes.
- I forgot my passwordAsk for a reset link on the sign-in page. It is valid for 60 minutes and can be used once.
- What is two-step sign-in, and do I need it?It asks for a six-digit code from an app on your phone, as well as your password. Anyone who learns your password still cannot sign in.
When something goes wrong
- My account is held. What happens now?An account is held when it was registered from outside the seven countries where registration is open. It is not a refusal and not a mark against you.
- My logo or banner was refusedThe image has to be a PNG, JPEG or WebP, and within the size the page states beside the field.
- I need to talk to a personSupport inside your account is under development. When it opens you will get a case reference and a first response within one business day. Until then there is no address we can promise an answer from, and we would rather say so.
Still stuck? Support inside your account is under development. Until it opens, here is what does reach a person.
